Big B and the Actual Proof headline the Friday night lineup of Up North Craft Bar's WOODSTOCK AT 50 Festival. Expect their very best performance!
"ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT! HERE'S THE TIME WE'VE BEEN WAITIN' FOR!! We've scheduled today, tomorrow, and Saturday as the biggest musical/social event in our short while in business. It's all planned to coincide with and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the epochal Woodstock Music Festival! We weren't there, and we're not quite the size of Yasgur's farm, but we love that event, and we love music and fun and peace as much as anyone that was there, so we're doin' it up proud here at the Up North Craft Bar these three days! We're gonna have lotsa music playin', an 800 sq ft tent for food and drink, several food trucks, and (unsupervised) game/play areas for adults and for kids, all on our (sufficiently large) property.
Inside the bar, it'll be our normal, happy atmosphere all day each day, with great Live music each evening.
FRI 8/16 8:30PM: BIG B & THE ACTUAL PROOF (Haunting originals and some brilliant covers in a style influenced by Noir movies and the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robin Trower, and Pink Floyd. Hypnotic, captivating sounds to savor and crave!)
ONE LAST NOTE: To help cover the expense of this our largest undertaking, and to satisfy all local concerns about security and level-headedness, we need to charge a $5.00 cover per day* for anyone 21 or older. We'll apply a wristband to all who pay, which will entitle the wearer to purchase and consume alcoholic drinks in the bar, and to be served and consume the same in the tent.
*$10.00 will cover all three days, denoted by a special wristband.
No cover or wristband required for accompanied minors. No admittance for unaccompanied minors."
